Saturday the 12, Jim was presented with the Silver Beaver Ward for scouting. Here we are with our "Govenator" Gary Herbert. It was at the beautiful Provo Tabernacle.

Jim, with his kids after the ceremony. Tricia and family ran to catch Kylee's game right after Jim received his award, but later joinned us at home to visit.

This is Jim with John Stewart. John was one of Jim's scouts when we lived in Spanish Fork. It was so neat that they both got the award together. John was one of the ones who sent in a letter about Jim to the committee and had lots of nice things to say about him. Some of the things they read about Jim today, were things John had written.
The Brinkerhoff's with Jim at our house. We were all so proud of him. He deserves it very much, as he has loved scouting for 45 years and done a lot to help many boys.
Jim and Vance (wylene's uncle) had a arm wrestling contest, but they are still friends.
Lana, (wylene's Mom) had something shocking to tell. ( I guess, at least Tricia looks like it might me shocking)
McCrae was entertaining us . He got this idea from Aunt Tricia.
Todd and Danelle were having their own party out back. I told them to get a room, but they just laughed.We missed Erick and family, but the last post tells you why he wasn't here. He called and sent his love to his Dad. And we understood. We are just glad now that it was worth not having him here.
