Happy Birthday Matt

All Matt wanted for his birthday was to go fishing, so we took off up American Fork Canyon. The kids ran themselves ragged, after a spray of Off on everyone.
We roasted hot dogs, and marshmellows, and Matt even cooked and ate the fish he caught (after a kiss). Then we had cheese cake and ice cream. Sadie caught an Inch worm on her shirt. After a visit around the campfire, the dark sent us back down the canyon with some tired , dirty little ones. We were so glad to have Brennon with us from AZ, as Todd and Danelle brought him back with them. We even got to see Shay's awesome new brace she got in AZ that is going to make her back all better. All in all, I think everyone had a good time.

Take me out to the Ball Game...........

Here is my newest ball playing Grandson.
Stetson loves to move and baseball is his latest
adventure. He was the catcher last Saturday,
the week before he was the pitcher. He loves life and we sure love him. Watch Out girls, he has
eyelashes to die for.

BORN TO FISH

Erick's whole family went to Otter Creek
for the Memorial Weekend. Looks like they had a great time. Kristin skunked Justin, and Kurtis and Kyle got nice ones also. Way to go, what a great
family get away.

RUMM RUMM,,,,,,,,,

This is Erick, in Aniston, Alabama this Spring. He went back for some Hazmat
Training, and was there when the big
tornado's hit. He had to stop at the raceway . He learned a lot and if you ever have a hazardous spill...Call Erick

Grandma Great's Memories

In Grandma Great's last year she recited a poem for
me that she had learned in 1st Grade. I thought it fit
with this picture of McCrae and Sadie.
Come little leaves said the wind one day,
Come over in the meadow with me and play,
Put on your dresses of red and gold,
For summer has gone and the days turned cold.
Soon as the leaves heard the winds loud call,
Down they came fluttering one and all,
Dancing and playing the little leaves went,
For Summer is gone and the leaves are content.

Whew........

Well, I didn't plan to fill up that much space in one day. I just downloaded my camera today and had a lot of new pictures. And girls, you're right, blogging is fun! Hope you all enjoy my craziness. I had fun doing it.

Lions and Tigers, and Sharks, OH MY!

This is Colt at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. The last day I tended him this year, we had a day out at his favorite place. He surely did not want to stand this close to the shark, but after I walked up with him, he was willing to let me back away and take a picture. What a fun place it is.

Day at the Park

Shay on the very top of the monkey bars.
She sure is a cute monkey!

Hated to Leave

What a cute family. We just hated to leave them, but they will be
up here in another month. We can hardly wait. See ya soon.

Big Sandwich

Gentry had her folks order a l a r g e sandwich for
the luncheon after her baptisim. This was the box it came in. She nearly hit the ceiling on Papa's
shoulders. The box was resting on the floor, so it was a little longer than 6 feet.

Brennon's pet Turtle

This is Brennon's pet Turtle. He came right up to the glass door that morning and looked in the window like," Is anyone going to feed me?" So Brennon took it some strawberries, which it loves.

We have some funny faces in our family!

This is the reason for the Trip

We went to Arizona for Gentry's baptisim. Can hardly believe she is 8 years old. She looked so pretty in her beautiful white dress. We are proud of her and want her to know we love her.

I found one also!

I found this one on the way down to Arizona.
It was just south of Wickenburg.

Geocaching our way to Arizona

We hunted for Geocaches all
the way to Arizona. We were
lucky enough to find all of them,
except the one in Gilbert.
This is one that Jim found on
our way home. Just outside of
Wickenburg.

Erick and Kyle just went Turkey hunting and I guess you can see they found what they were hunting for. They even ate them and said they were delish!

Here we go..........

Well, Shani and Robbin have been after me to get on the wagon with a blog.
So I am giving it a try. I told them I don't have much to blog about, but I do have a great family and like to brag about them. Guess that is a Grandma's right, Huh?!? We do have some fun thing coming up for the summer, so I will keep you posted................
